COVID-19 Statement - Remaining Day of Percussion and Chapter Events

With so much uncertainty in our nation and many organizations taking precautionary measures, PAS has made the decision to postpone all remaining Day of Percussion and other chapter events through the end of May 2020. PAS believes it is in everyone’s best interest to focus on other areas of their lives at this critical moment. We are also mindful of those artists who make their living as freelance musicians and the impact that cancellations have. For that reason, we will work with each chapter to try and recreate these events as closely as possible, which includes the artists that were initially involved.
The Percussive Arts Society has been around for nearly 60 years. It has survived tough times before and we will get through this time as well. We look forward to our nation and our planet healing as soon as possible and coming together in person in November for PASIC 2020.
